Employment Application

Resurfacing Technician

No experience is needed to join our team. We train our employees for hands-on, manual labor. The job is for inside work on a full-time, year-round basis. After 60 days, employees earn a supplemental $1,000 hiring bonus.


Job details:


  • Painting tubs, baths, countertops, and cabinets
  • Full-time employed position (not a subcontractor job)
  • $20 per hour during training ($20 to $22 after)
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Medical, dental, and 401(k) plan
  • Expected hours: 36 to 40 per week, Monday to Friday


Duties include:


  • Painting for resurfacing
  • Cleaning, preparing, striping, and sanding for resurfacing in apartment communities
  • Resurface painting tubs, showers, tile walls, countertops, and cabinets
  • Requires wearing respirator (must be clean shaven, no full beard) and other protective gear for safety
  • Cleaning site after work is complete


Job requirements:


  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Can lift 50 pounds
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, hands-on service, hard worker
  • Personal vehicle for work required, must carry chemicals and paint (local travel, truck preferred)
  • Drug-free environment, drug testing required before start date
  • Must pass drug and background check, no felonies or DWI/DUI (deal breaker)


Education:


  • High school or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:


  • Hands-on labor: 1 year (preferred)


Language:


  • English (required)


License/certification:


  • Driver's license (required)
  • Cannot have more than 2 points on your driver’s license
  • Vehicle insurance (required)
